Although for the most part I felt like the sessions which I attended at PodCamp Toronto this past weekend all lacked something big (either content or delivery) I did manage to pick up a couple of useful things and I wanted to share them.
Feedly is one program/extension that I used when it was first released back in the day but never could get in to fully. I found that at the time it was not designed well enough and it wasn’t refined enough for me to use it. I forgot about it until this weekend. Luckily in the session Hack Your Workflow for Productivity and Creativity I was reminded of this service.
If you use Google Reader and hate how it looks/functions I urge you to check out this service.

This past weekend a bunch of us some how managed to convince a local designer/musician, Pat Dryburgh, to check out PodCamp Toronto. He arrived on Saturday around Noon and ended up staying the night (crashing on our hotel room floor).
We were certainly glad he came as his musical talents entertained us during the Saturday night social, plus he added some good conversation through out the entire weekend.
The clip shown here is of him and Toronto’s own Rannie Turingan.
